The short version

  • We don’t sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
  • Documents you upload are used only to provide LicensorFlow to you, never to train general AI models.
  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and hosted in the United States or EU.
  • You can access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing us or from Settings.

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

04Legal bases (EEA and UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement and business communications), consent (optional cookies and marketing), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).

05Document processing and AI

In plain terms:Uploads are processed only for your account and never used to train general AI models.

When you upload a document, we process its text to suggest renewal dates, notice periods and other fields. Where personal data moves outside the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved safeguards. Scale customers can choose EU hosting for Customer Content.

08How long we keep it

  • Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

09Security

We encrypt data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), restrict employee access on a need-to-know basis, support multi-factor authentication, and keep audit logs. We test our systems regularly and will notify affected customers without undue delay if a breach affects their data.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
